Caricatures

About Me

I was looking for some different ways to communicate information about myself in my portfolio and decided to do some quick caricature sketches on my iPad. I ended up with around 10 rough ideas that showed different aspects of my personality. I then chose my favorite 4 and started developing the sketches further.

Textures

I spend a lot of time experimenting with Photoshop brush settings and creating my own textures and this project seemed like a good opportunity to try out some new techniques. I used 3 new brushes to achieve pastel and pencil effect in certain areas and used a canvas surface texture to give a paint-like finish.
